The PYÖK Protocol Meeting, of which our Vocational School is a Stakeholder, was Held at the Burdur Commodity Exchange

Within the scope of the Higher Education Council and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol, a Protocol Executive Board (PYÖK) meeting was held at the Burdur Commodity Exchange. Our unit was represented at the first official meeting of PYÖK, which was established to ensure the effective implementation of the protocol locally, by our Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel, Assistant Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Cesur Turgut and Dr. Lecturer Pelin Ertürkmen, and Vocational School Secretary Abdullah Koyutürk. At the opening of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel emphasized the importance of the protocol in terms of developing Burdur's agriculture and livestock potential and stated that the mission of the Vocational School to provide qualified workforce to the sector would be strengthened. Important decisions were made at the meeting on topics such as the official formation of PYÖK, determining working procedures and principles, planning concrete steps towards the province's priority needs, increasing efficiency in the livestock sector, improving milk quality, reducing feed costs, promoting drought-resistant silage crops, increasing field applications, and strengthening students' sectoral experiences. It was stated that these efforts to increase Burdur's competitiveness in the livestock and food sector would make significant contributions to the province's development and the strengthening of the Vocational School's regional role. The meeting concluded with an agreement to regularly evaluate the decisions made and to share the process transparently with the public.
